Cordless vacuum cleaners, which are also floor scrubbers, are a really useful cleaning tool in most homes. Especially for people who do not have much time to dedicate to cleaning and need an effective, fast and versatile solution. In this article, we compare four models belonging to the same range: Tineco One S7 vs S6 vs S5 vs S3. All of them belong to the set of floor-cleaning vacuum cleaners from Tineco, one of the revelation brands of recent years.
Being four models from the same brand, it is reasonable to think that there will be many similarities between them. And, in many cases, it is so. For example, all of them have an autonomy of approximately 35 minutes and take between 4 and 5 hours to recharge. It may seem like a lot, but they are within the usual average for this type of cleaning devices. On the other hand, all of them incorporate two tanks, one for clean water and another for dirty water, which guarantees more hygiene when cleaning. Of course, not everyone has the same capacity.
Regarding power, we cannot say that there are big differences, but the Tineco One S6 stands out a bit from its rivals thanks to a slightly higher power. In addition, three of the Tineco vacuum cleaners have a special function for cleaning edges, defined mainly by the head they have. And, speaking of the head, only the one on the Tineco One S7 has an LED light on the front.
As you can see, there are some similarities, but also many differences, between the four vacuum cleaners in the range. Therefore, we are going to analyze them in detail to help you choose the most suitable one for you.

Powerful but heavy vacuum cleaners
Normally, when we think of cordless vacuum cleaners, we think of handy and lightweight models. However, the Tineco Floor One are not exactly light. As they are floor mopping vacuum cleaners, they incorporate a double water tank, which makes them not flexible and more voluminous. Of course, the ergonomic handle and the type of roller they have make it not difficult to handle them around the house, although we will not be able to clean areas as easily as under the table, for example.
When it comes to size and design, the four models are very similar to each other. The main difference is that the Tineco Floor One S7 has an LED light on the front of the head, unlike the other three vacuum cleaners. This light allows you to improve visibility in darker areas, and is a way to match the majority of vacuum cleaners with which it competes on the market.
Power and autonomy, quite similar
The first thing we usually look at when we consider which vacuum cleaner to buy is its power. The Tineco One S7, S5 and S3 have practically identical power, between 220 and 230 watts. For its part, the Tineco One S6 raises it slightly to 290 watts, something that is especially noticeable when vacuuming carpets. On the other hand, the Tineco One S7 has 4 levels to choose from, while the Tineco One S6 and S5 have 3, and the Tineco One S3 has 2. Of course, all four models have iLoop technology, with which they can automatically adjust the suction power according to the dirt they detect.
If we look at the autonomy, all four have a very similar battery life, which is around 35-40 minutes maximum. The Tineco One S7 is closer to 40 minutes because it has one more power level, but the difference is minimal. Also, as you know, autonomy depends on how much we optimize the power depending on the amount of dirt there is. As for charging time, they all take between 4 and 5 hours to fully recharge the battery.
Double tank for scrubbing
A common quality in all four vacuum cleaners is that they have two specific tanks for scrubbing, one for clean water and another for dirty water. Furthermore, the volume of both deposits is different. The Tineco One S3 has a 600 ml clean water tank and a 500 ml dirty water tank. On the other hand, its three older brothers increase these capacities to approximately 800 and 700 ml.
Regarding the scrubbing system, it is interesting to note that the water flow is also intelligently controlled. Additionally, after mopping, the Tineco Floor One can dry the floor instantly, providing much more versatility. And to top it off, they have a self-cleaning function that you can activate when you’re done and return them to the charging base.
Brush Features
The main brush is essential to determine the performance of a vacuum cleaner. In this case, the Tineco One S3 has the simplest brush, a multifunction roller that can be used on different types of floors, such as tiles, hard floors, marble or wood. In the case of the other three Tineco vacuum cleaners, they also have a roller brush, only it is designed in such a way that it has more capacity to clean the edges and corners. In fact, Tineco has named this brush Edge Cleaning, and it is thicker than the brush we see on the S3. And, as we have said, only the brush of the Tineco One S7 is complemented by LED lights.
Synchronizable with mobile app
Tineco vacuum cleaners can be synchronized with the Tineco app, through which you can consult cleaning reports from previous days, consult the parameters chosen on the vacuum cleaner or review suggestions to improve the use of the cleaning device. And, if it is necessary to perform maintenance on the vacuum cleaner, the app will notify you of this. Even so, you can also see it on the LCD screen that all the vacuum cleaners we are analyzing have, and which is very useful to know the remaining autonomy or the chosen suction level.
Which Tineco floor mopping vacuum cleaner is the most interesting?
As you have seen, the four Tineco floor mopping vacuum cleaners are ideal if what you are looking for is a cleaning tool with which to save time and keep your house clean daily. Obviously, there are price differences, since the Tineco One S3 is one level below in features such as tank capacity or edge cleaning. However , the economic difference between the S3 and the S5 and S6, which surpass it in many aspects of performance, is not much, which makes it more interesting to opt for one of the mid-range ones.
Now, is it worth choosing the Tineco One S7? Honestly, the biggest difference we’ve found is the LED light on the head, which can be useful for further cleaning particles that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Otherwise, we are looking at a vacuum cleaner that is practically the same as the Tineco One S6, which even has more power. That said, if the LED light on the head is a must-have feature for you, you would have to choose the S7. If not, the Tineco One S6 seems like the best quality-price alternative to us.
