Lefant robot vacuum cleaners have been one of our great discoveries in recent years. Although they have been on the market for less time, they have managed to carve out a niche between the basic and affordable range models. However, not all of them are equally efficient and, to help you choose, we have compared the performance of four of them. Specifically, the Lefant F2, M1, M210 Pro and M213.

One of the main differences they have is the maximum suction power, which ranges from 2200 Pascals in the Lefant M210 Pro and M213 to 4000 and 5000 Pascals in the Lefant M1 and F1. However, this does not guarantee that they are the most powerful and complete models. In fact, only the Lefant M1 combines sensor-based navigation with laser, giving you the possibility of more personalized cleaning. Even so, the customization options are smaller than in other robot vacuum cleaners; Basically, they limit themselves to establishing prohibited areas. On the other hand, the Lefant M1 does save the maps it creates, unlike its rivals. 

The possibility of mopping as well as vacuuming is another aspect that differentiates the four Lefant robot vacuum cleaners. The only one that includes mopping with a water tank is the Lefant M1, since, in the rest of the models, the “mopping” is done with disposable mops that get wet. Four robots, four designs

Although the four protagonists of this review are Lefant, their designs are completely different. The Lefant F1 has a speckled design that gives it a more “galactic” look, and the Lefant M210 Pro goes for relief and a three-dimensional feel in its robot. For its part, the Lefant M1 and M213 are single-color, although the M213 has a brighter touch. On the other hand, it is interesting to note that the Lefant M1 is taller than the other three robots, and has a height that exceeds 9 centimeters. The difference is mainly due to the laser sensor that this model has. This It could be a problem if you have a sofa or a table that is too low.

The suction power changes

One of the most important elements when choosing which robot vacuum cleaner we choose is the suction power. And, in this case, it is one of the differences to take into account. The Lefant F1 is the one that, in theory, has the most suction power, as it reaches up to 5000 Pascals. It is followed by the Lefant M1, with 4000 Pascals, and the M210 Pro and M213 models, with 2200 Pascals. The reality, however, is a little different, and that is that the Lefant F1 does not have twice the suction power of the M210 Pro. And, in fact, it has a very similar power to that of the Lefant M1, although it is supposed to is 1000 Pascals lower.

How much autonomy do they have?

Battery life is another important difference between the four robot vacuum cleaners. The Lefant M series have a maximum autonomy that ranges between approximately 100 and 150 minutes. On the other hand, the Lefant F1 amounts to 250 minutes (theoretically) of maximum autonomy. The truth is that, although this depends on the use we make of the robot, the Lefant F1 does offer a longer life than the other three robot vacuum cleaners.

On average, all of them take between 4 and 5 hours to fully charge. And, in this sense, you should know that all of them have the capacity to go to the charging base and recharge the energy. However, only the Lefant M1 is able to resume cleaning, because it is the only one with navigation technology that allows it to orient itself and remember where it had left it.

Navigation: only one is smart

If we look at the technology that each robot uses to move, the Lefant F1, M210 Pro and M213 use the FreeMove system, which is based on a set of sensors in which electronic detection technology is also involved. That is, there are three robot vacuum cleaners whose navigation is random, although they have specific cleaning modes that follow a certain order, such as zig-zag mode, for example. In some models, it is even possible to adjust the sensitivity of the sensors.

For its part, the Lefant M1 combines this technology with a LiDAR laser sensor, and this allows it to carry out more intelligent navigation. Honestly, it is far from the intelligence and autonomy of other brands, but this model has a more organized and sophisticated navigation than the other three Lefant. In addition, it is the only one that, in addition to creating maps, can store them to customize the cleaning later (the other three robots create maps, but do not save them, but can only be viewed to check the status in real time).

Now, don’t expect super personalized management, because the functionalities that it allows for each map it stores are basically reduced to delimiting prohibited areas or choosing an area where you want it to act.

What about the scrubbing?

We admit that this is one of the points that has bothered us the most. The Lefant M1 is the only one of the four that incorporates a scrubbing system with a water tank, which, in this case, is combined with the waste tank. The Lefant M210 Pro and M213 are capable of “scrubbing”, but there is no water tank. Instead, they have mops that can be moistened, although we do not particularly consider this to be mopping. Regarding the Lefant F1, you can buy it with these disposable pads or not, but you have that option.

No changes to the brushes

One of the similarities between the four robot vacuum cleaners is the brush system they have. All of them have a main suction mouth (that is, there is no central brush), which has its advantages and disadvantages. It sucks up larger debris more easily, but its performance is not as good when it comes to vacuuming up “hairs.” This suction mouth is reinforced with two side brushes in all four cases.

What is the most interesting Lefant robot vacuum cleaner?

You have already seen that there are more differences than you probably thought between these four Lefant robot vacuum cleaners. The question is knowing which one is most worth it, and that depends on what your priorities are. If we are honest, the Lefant M1 seems to us to be the most complete option and with a very good quality-price ratio. Being a robot vacuum cleaner with intelligent movement and a mopping system with a water tank, its price is not as high as other models with the same features.

On the other hand, the Lefant F1 has quite good autonomy, but when it comes to aspiration performance, it has left us colder. As for the Lefant M210 Pro and M213, in general, they do not provide bad results, except for the scrubbing part which, with our hand on our heart, we cannot consider to be scrubbing as such. Therefore, if this is not an important functionality for you and you are not looking for a robot with intelligent navigation, they are two very economical options.
