If you are one of those who always wants to try the latest developments in the robot vacuum cleaner market to know what options there are in addition to Roomba, you will be interested in this review. In it, we tell you the main differences between three models that, despite being little known because they are very recent (the company has been active for 10 years), have a very interesting quality-price ratio. We are talking about the Vactidy T8, T7 and T6, which you can also see with the nickname Vactidy Nimble.

One of the most important differences is that only the Vactidy T8 and T7 have the capacity to vacuum and scrub at the same time, for which they incorporate a solids tank and another for liquids. In contrast, the Vactidy T6 is only designed for vacuuming, and has a single solid waste tank twice the size of its rivals. Of course, it is the one with the least suction power of the three models, despite the fact that all of them have 3 levels of suction regulation.

As far as navigation is concerned, none of them have smart navigation. In fact, they do not allow you to create interactive maps in which to carry out personalized cleaning management. Even so, it is possible to program them in advance, since all of them can be operated via smartphone and by voice. And, in terms of autonomy, there are not many differences between them, because they all have the same battery capacity, although the Vactidy T7 is the one that allows it to be optimized the most depending on the chosen power level.

If you want to know in more detail what the main differences are between the three Vactidy robots, you just have to continue reading this review.

No design changes

Vactidy T6 vs T7 vs T8

At first glance, there aren’t many major changes to the design of the three robot vacuum cleaners. In fact, they all have the same dimensions, and, in this regard, we want to highlight something. They are one of the robots with the largest diameter there is, exceeding 30 centimeters, but they are not too tall, as they barely measure just over 7 centimeters high. This is an advantage when vacuuming in areas such as the bottom of tables, which are usually lower. In addition, all three have automatic carpet detection and are capable of rising up to a maximum of 15 millimeters. On the other hand, it should be noted that they include a remote control.

Suction power is improving

One of the most obvious differences between the three robot vacuum cleaners is the suction power, which improves from the T6 to the T8 model. Thus, the Vactidy T6 has a maximum power of 2000 Pascals, which rises to 2800 Pascals in the T7 and 3000 Pascals in the T8. Of course, in all of them it is possible to choose between 3 power levels: silent, standard and maximum. On the other hand, since all robots can detect carpets automatically, the power will increase on its own when they are on these types of surfaces.

Not everyone vacuums and mops

Another important difference that we must highlight is that, of the three robots, only two have the versatility to vacuum and mop at the same time. Specifically, the Vactidy T8 and T7, which incorporate a double tank for solid waste (250 ml) and for water (230 ml) plus a mopping mop. On the other hand, the Vactidy T6 cannot scrub, because it only has a single tank for solids. Of course, this tank is 500 ml, twice as large as the solids tank of the T8 and T7, because it has more space for it.

What autonomy do they have?

Vactidy T8 vs T7 vs T6

If we look at the battery that each robot includes, we see that all three have the same capacity, 2500 mAh. That is, in theory, all of them have the same maximum autonomy. However, the Vactidy T7 engine allows it to be optimized a little better than its two rivals.

The difference is that the Vactidy T7 can reach 120 minutes of autonomy, while the Vactidy T8 and T6 usually stay at 100 minutes. And, be careful, because this is the maximum autonomy; That is, what we would obtain if we always vacuumed in low power mode. From experience, we advise you to have less autonomy, since there are times when the suction power increases and, therefore, the battery life is reduced.

Likewise, the three robots take about 6 hours to fully recharge. This recharging is done automatically, so that, when the cleaning is finished or the battery is about to run out, it is the robot itself that returns to the base. Of course, afterwards you are not able to pick up the cleaning where you left off.

Random navigation in all three cases

We cannot stop talking about the type of navigation that these robots have, which, in all three cases, is random. They use a set of anti-shock and anti-fall sensors reinforced with a gyroscope. This combination allows them to follow a series of more orderly routes, such as zig-zag or circle clearance, for more consistent navigation, but it’s not smart. In all cases they have a total of 4 cleaning modes: automatic, edge, spot or single room cleaning. In fact, they are not capable of saving maps of the space to be able to personalize it and to be able to carry out independent management. However, even if you don’t remember them, the Vactidy T8 is capable of creating maps and you can see them in the App to follow the cleaning.

What are the brushes like?

Vactidy T7 vs T8 vs T6

This is another of the sections in which there are no major differences, since the three Vactidys have the same set of brushes. Specifically, they have a main multifunction roller made of rubber and bristles and two side brushes. Thus, they can vacuum different types of debris, such as small solid pieces, hair or bread crumbs. And, in case you are interested in if you are allergic, you should know that all of them have a HEPA filter that guarantees the maximum possible particle retention.

App and voice control, in addition to the remote

Before finishing, we have to tell you that the three robot vacuum cleaners can be synchronized with a mobile app or with the most common voice assistants. Therefore, it is possible to control them, program them or change the suction mode from your smartphone or through your voice, in addition to the remote control they include.

Conclusion: What is the best Vactidy robot vacuum cleaner?

At this point, we only have to decide which of the three Vactidy robot vacuum cleaners we should choose. To be fair, neither of them are expensive robots; In fact, affordability is one of its main strengths compared to other similar competing models. This is one of the reasons why the price difference between the three robots is very small. On the one hand, this makes us think that, being so small, it is more interesting to opt for one of the two robots that, in addition to vacuuming, can mop. Now, don’t expect high-intensity scrubbing by any means, what they do is, rather, slightly perfect the vacuuming by passing a damp mop.

Therefore, is it always interesting to opt for scrubbing? Depends. For example, if your house is larger and you think that a 250 ml solids tank is going to fall short, you may be more interested in choosing the Vactidy T6, which has half a liter capacity. On the other hand, if your house is not that big, it can be useful to have scrubbing. Even if you can’t delegate mopping completely to the robot, leave the floor a little cleaner and shinier by using a damp mop.

In addition, it must be taken into account that the Vactidy T8 is the one with the most suction power, although it is true that the difference is noticeable, above all, with respect to the T6. In short, think about what your preferences are when choosing a robot vacuum cleaner and choose the one that best suits them.
