Buying a robot vacuum cleaner that is affordable and that, at the same time, meets the cleaning expectations we have, is now easier than it was several years ago. The variety of models on the market is much greater, and that means that brands not only design and manufacture high-end robot vacuum cleaners, but also other more economical but efficient options. Today we compare three of these robot vacuum cleaners to help you choose the most suitable one for you among the Lefant M210 Pro, Roomba 692 and Xiaomi E12 models.

One of the most important differences between these three robot vacuum cleaners is the maximum suction power. In this sense, Roomba does not openly offer data like Lefant and Xiaomi, but we do know that the 600 series models have a power of approximately 600 pascals. In this sense, the Xiaomi E12 is the one with the highest power, and the one that allows you to choose between more different power levels.

When it comes to autonomy, there are differences, although the three robots move in a shorter time range, with a maximum difference of 30 minutes. Another differentiating aspect is that only the Xiaomi E12 can mop in addition to vacuuming, because it incorporates a removable mop and an additional tank. And, if we look at the navigation, none of them allow intelligent navigation, although the Xiaomi E12 does give the option to organize the navigation a little more than its rivals.

Three easily recognizable designs

Xiaomi E12 vs Levant M210 Pro vs Roomba 692

The aesthetics of these three robot vacuum cleaners are quite different, so it is easy to identify which brand each of them belongs to. The Xiaomi E12 maintains the classic corporate white color, and is the one with the “cleanest” design of all, with a single small button at the top.

For its part, the Roomba 692 is black and is, apparently, the most sober of all, but it is also the tallest. Instead, the Lefant M210 Pro has two versions, in black and champagne, and is the smallest of all. In addition, it has a very characteristic hexagonal shape at the top.

Power, an important difference

One of the things we first look at whenever we compare robot vacuum cleaners is the maximum suction power they can achieve. The first thing you should know is that iRobot, the brand that owns Roomba, does not offer data as transparently as the rest. Experience tells us that Roomba 600 series robots have about 600 pascals of suction power, but we also know that 600 pascals in a Roomba seems more powerful than in other brands.

That said, it is fair to highlight that the Lefant M210 Pro can reach up to 2200 Pascals, while the Xiaomi E12 manages to reach 4000 Pascals, a fairly high power for a robot in this economic range. Furthermore, while the Roomba and Lefant robots have 3 power levels, the Xiaomi has 4.

They vacuum, and they scrub?

Roomba 692 vs Levant M210 Pro vs Xiaomi E12

Only one of the three models, the Xiaomi E12, has the dual functionality of vacuuming and mopping simultaneously. This is because it is the only one of the three that has a removable mopping mop and an additional tank. However, we cannot say that the quality of the scrubbing is exceptional. It is, rather, a complement to improve vacuuming, but what it does is basically use a damp mop. Even so, it is more than what the Roomba and Lefant robots offer, in this sense.

However, it should be noted that for the Lefant 210 Pro you can buy a mop attached to the robot that, if manually moistened, can perform mopping tasks.

How long does the battery of each robot last?

Another difference that may influence your decision has to do with the autonomy of each robot; That is, with how long your battery can last on a single charge. The Roomba 692 has a maximum autonomy of 90 minutes (it is true that Roomba is not usually characterized by long autonomy), which amounts to 110 minutes in the Xiaomi E12 and 120 minutes in the Lefant M210 Pro.

In contrast, these two robots take 3.5 hours to recharge, unlike the almost two hours it takes for Roomba. On the other hand, none of them have full auto-recharge and resume functionality. They can go to the charging base on their own, but they do not pick up cleaning where they left off.

Navigation, random in the three robots

The displacement system is one of the factors that most influence the independence of the robot. In this case, as there are three low-end robot vacuum cleaners, none of them have an intelligent navigation system, because they are all based on sensor navigation. That is, they have random navigation. However, it is interesting to note that the Xiaomi E12 combines the use of sensors with a gyroscope, and this allows it to carry out somewhat more organized navigation.

What you cannot do in any of them is personalized room management, because they do not have the ability to save the maps and then edit them through the app. Likewise, they cannot recognize objects intelligently, although it is worth noting that they can recognize carpets to intensify the power on them, except for the Xiaomi E12.

Do all robots have brushes?

Levant M210 Pro vs Roomba 692 vs Xiaomi E12

Not really. The Roomba and Xiaomi robots have a multifunction central roller which, in the case of the Roomba 692, is double (and, why not say it, gives better results with a single pass). However, the Lefant M210 Pro does not have a central brush, but rather has a suction mouth. This option is more interesting for absorbing larger debris, but the performance when vacuuming hair is worse. Apart from this, all of them are reinforced with side brushes. The Lefant M210 Pro, precisely because it needs more reinforcement, has 2 side brushes. On the other hand, the Roomba and Xiaomi only have a side brush.

Remote control by app and voice

One of the similarities that the three robot vacuum cleaners share is the possibility of synchronizing with a mobile app and a virtual assistant. That is, it is possible to control them both from the smartphone and through voice. This, without a doubt, makes its handling more comfortable, and even allows you to schedule cleaning without having to be at home.

How to choose between these three simple robot vacuum cleaners?

This is the crux of the matter, and the choice will depend on what your preferences and limitations are. Although all three are much more affordable than most current robot vacuum cleaners, it must be taken into account that the Roomba 692 has a higher price, because Roomba is a generally more expensive brand. It is true that the suction power it has is very good, although the Xiaomi E12 competes quite well in this aspect.

In fact, the Xiaomi E12 is the most versatile robot vacuum cleaner of the three. Firstly, because it is the only one that can vacuum and scrub at the same time. And, also, because the navigation it can do is more orderly than what the Roomba 692 and the Lefant M210 Pro do. Likewise, the quality-price ratio of the Xiaomi E12 seems very good to us, taking into account that it is the newest of the three.

Now, if you prefer to play it safe and weigh more, for you, the reputation that Roomba has in terms of quality and effectiveness, the Roomba 692 is a simple but effective robot vacuum cleaner that will satisfy your basic daily cleaning needs.. Think, therefore, about what aspects are most important to you, and it will be easier for you to choose.
