One of the brands that has taken the longest to reach the current robot vacuum cleaner market is Lefant. However, it has emerged strongly and its growth has been quite rapid in recent years. This has meant that, today, there is a wide variety of Lefant robot vacuum cleaners to choose from, with some differences between them. In this article, we analyze the most important differences between the Lefant M210, M210P and M210 Pro, to help you choose.

A priori, we already told you that the differences between them are minimal, especially between the M210P and M210 Pro. In fact, these two vacuum cleaners are practically the same model, except for the color. On the other hand, they do present some more differences with respect to the Lefant M210, which has a slightly lower suction power and about 20 minutes less autonomy.

Keep in mind that none of the three include the scrubbing function in the standard equipment, although it is possible to purchase the accessory with which you can incorporate this function separately. On the other hand, they also do not have an automatic emptying station. And, although all three return to the charging base when they have finished the scheduled cleaning or when they are about to run out of battery, they do not have the ability to return to the point where they had interrupted it.

But, so that you can check which of the three is most interesting for you, we encourage you to continue reading this review. In it, we tell you what the main differences are and in which cases you may be interested in staying with each of them.

Designs: just change the color

Levant M210 vs M210 Pro vs M210P

At first glance, it is easy to guess that we are looking at three robot vacuum cleaners from the same range, because they all maintain the same design. Practically, the only thing that changes is the color, in addition to the height of the Lefant M210, which is slightly lower than that of the M210P and M210 Pro models (although, to tell the truth, the difference is barely noticeable). Otherwise, they are three robot vacuum cleaners that have the same design approach, including the absence of a main brush, which is replaced by a suction mouth. On the other hand, none of them have a self-emptying station included, nor the accessory that allows you to scrub in addition to vacuuming, although you can buy it separately.

Suction power and cleaning modes

The next thing we look at when considering which robot vacuum cleaner to buy is the maximum suction power, which, in this case, is one of the differences. The Lefant M210 has a maximum power of 1800 Pascals, while the M210P and M210 Pro increase up to 2200 Pascals. Of course, in all of them it is possible to choose between three different power levels, in order to optimize autonomy to the maximum.

On the other hand, in Lefant robot vacuum cleaners we must talk about the cleaning modes. As they do not have intelligent navigation (we will talk about that below), they have several pre-configured cleaning modes that allow them to carry out a somewhat more organized navigation, although it is random. The Lefant M210 and M210P have 4 cleaning modes (zig-zag, edges, spot and random), in addition to the possibility of programming. On the other hand, the Lefant M210 Pro adds the wall cleaning mode and the manual control steering mode.

Random navigation in all three cases

Levant M210 vs M210P vs M210 Pro

Although the Lefant M210 Pro has one more mode, the type of navigation is the same in all three cases. Thus, the three Lefant have FreeMove navigation technology, which is based on a set of sensors reinforced with 6D electronic detection technology. The M210P and M210 Pro models slightly improve the sensor set of previous robots, but the operation is the same.

Navigation is quite random, and we must say that not all modes work equally. In fact, the zig-zag mode does not have the same performance as other robot vacuum cleaners. And, if you are looking for interactive maps with which to intelligently manage cleaning, save time, because they cannot be created. On the other hand, we like the fact that you can regulate the sensitivity level of the sensors through the app depending on the obstacles you have at home.

Autonomy and automatic recharging

Another aspect that we usually look at in robot vacuum cleaners is the battery life. In this sense, we see a small improvement between the Lefant M210 and the two following models. The M210 has an autonomy of 100 minutes, which rises to 120 minutes in the Lefant M210P and M210 Pro. All of them take about 3 and a half hours to fully recharge, and, although they can automatically return to the charging base, they are not able to pick up cleaning where they left off.

Same tank capacity

Levant M210P vs M210 Pro vs Levant M210

One of the similarities between the three robot vacuum cleaners that are the subject of this review is that they have a tank of equal capacity, 500 ml, which is not bad at all for a robot as economical as this one. There are other models that have slightly larger tanks, but there are also many whose tanks are below 400 ml, so they are within the average in this regard.

It is worth mentioning that it is possible to purchase the mopping tank separately, to be able to add a water tank and a removable mop. However, none of the three have this accessory in their standard equipment.

What is the brush set like?

Let’s talk, now, about the brushes that are included in each of the three robot vacuum cleaners. We already told you that there are no differences in this sense either. The three robots have two side brushes, plus two other spare ones included. And, regarding the main brush, Lefant opts for incorporating a suction mouth instead of a brush. This, from our point of view, has some pros and several cons.

The suction mouth works quite well with solid waste, such as dirt, rice or bread crumbs. On the other hand, it does not have as much performance with animal hair, for example, and that is one of the most important features in a robot vacuum cleaner if you have pets at home.

On the other hand, the Lefant M210P and M210 Pro have a mode that allows them to recognize carpets and increase suction automatically, although we cannot say that they have extraordinary performance, precisely due to the absence of a main brush.

Are they programmable?

Yes, the three Lefant robot vacuum cleaners can be programmed through the Lefant app, with which they are all compatible. Thus, if you are not at home and you want the cleaning to start, you can activate it through your smartphone. It is also interesting to know that they can be synchronized with the virtual assistants of Alexa and Google Home, so you can order them to start cleaning through your voice.

So, which Lefant robot vacuum cleaner is most worth it?

You already know that we always like to be very honest with you, and we have to say that none of the three of us is our favorite robot. They are very cheap, yes, but to what extent is it worth it that they are so cheap if their performance is not what we expected? It fulfills the basic functions in those houses that do not have such a high demand for cleaning.

At least, we have to recognize that the Lefant M210 Pro and the Lefant M210P have more suction power than the M210, and it shows. And, furthermore, the sensor technology is a little more precise thanks to the fact that the M210Py Pro has version 3.0 of FreeMove, and the sensors recognize objects quite well. Even so, they do not quite meet our expectations, and, in part, it is because, as there is no main brush, the suction of the waste is not as we expected. It is true that we have a pet at home, and that is an important point for us.

That said, if you don’t have pets at home, Lefant robot vacuum cleaners may be an economical alternative to keep your house relatively clean on a daily basis and that is easy to use. However, they are not robot vacuum cleaners designed for very deep cleaning, or for people who live with pets, in which case it is more interesting to opt for a model with better suction capacity.
